We take your health seriously! We know we work you into a state of absolute madness at times; with care of course, but nonetheless, we push you to the limit to get those results you signed up for. Now it’s your turn to vent here! Hit us with your best shot. And, for the time being, please submit all messages to T3Health@gmail.com.
Craig, I’ve now been home for over 30 minutes, had my protein shake and showered. And, I’m still sweating. After 2 years training with you, that workout today was the hardest I’ve ever had with you. Right when I think I can finally tolerate one of your hour workouts you go and turn the dial up another notch. You should think about changing what T3 stands for….”Tough x 3!” See you Wednesday.
Sandra J, Southwest Ranches
That was without a doubt the most intense workout I’ve ever experienced in my life. And, I’ve been an athlete since the age of 4! I’m now 36! Incredible. Thanks Craig! Dave was right, you are the best.

The results are in the way my clothes fit and the way I look in the mirror and more importantly, pictures! Craig and Abbe are without a doubt the best at what they do. Not only do they possess the knowledge and expertise that most other trainers don’t, they truly care and really know how to motivate all of us to dig deep into ourselves and reach for the sky. Guys, I’m a size 5 once again! The last time I could say that was when I was a freshman at Florida State back in 1996. There is no way I could have done this without both of you. You’ve been my trainers, mentors and friends! I can’t thank you enough. I’ll see you back in the studio Wednesday afternoon. And, I promise you I behaved on New Years Eve!

For 8 hours a week during the Summer of 2009, I trained with Craig at his studio in Cooper City, and I loved and hated it at the same time. I was a 17 year old senior at Monroe high school in Ohio and a 3 time state champion. My father was a teammate of Craig’s at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where Craig was a collegiate wrestler. Craig was an incredible wrestler but in his Junior year, he broke a couple bones in his neck and had to quit the sport for several years. I remember seeing video of Craig training when he was in college and it impressed and also scared the hell out of me. My dad said that if I wanted to win the state championship again, that’s what it took. I was coming off a pretty bad shoulder injury my junior year and that’s why he called Craig and made arrangements for me to train with him 5 days a week last summer. Florida was pretty cool.
The things he put me through were beyond torture. Everyday it was different and he pushed me to my physical limit. At the end of the summer, my weight was nearly 8 pounds lower than my wrestling weight (125), my flexibility was incredible and my body fat was only 8%. And, I learned a heck of a lot of techniques. Craig’s not a huge guy by any means but he’s probably the toughest guy I’ve ever met in my life (sorry dad). And, smart as hell.
I’m no longer a senior at Monroe, I’m now a freshman at UTC, and a former 4 time Ohio High School Wrestling Champion! Gotta keep it in the family guys! Go MOCS! Craig, I can’t thank you enough for all you did for me. You pushed me harder than anyone in my life and it paid off. I’ll be there over Spring Break to get another dose of the 1000′s!
“Fatty” (Leyland) August, 2009
I have a love-hate relationship with Craig. All Craig does all day long is shout angry commands at us, his suckers! That’s right, suckers. And, we do everything he says. AND, we’re paying the guy to do this. What’s wrong with this picture. Craig gets to sit around while we sweat our asses off for his entertainment. Yes, we’re all there to entertain Craig.
Now, after working all day, I’m exhausted. I mean, I’m beat. So, any normal human being would go home, shower, eat dinner and relax. Not me. I must be one crazy SOB or just plain stupid. Well, ok, I’m not stupid. I’ll admit it, I’m fat! Well, I was fat. 5’6″ and 265 pounds and my cholesterol was at 280! And, I smoked a pack a day and loved my Wendy’s for lunch. I’d get to the drive through and they’d ask if I wanted to biggee size my order. Heck yeah, biggee it up!
So, I’m at the studio and the first thing Craig says is to run the stairs for 5 minutes. So, what do I do? I run the stairs. Then, it’s about 50 push ups followed by some other cruel things. And again, I do it. Then, he has me take all his big heavy plates and put them on the floor and then put them all back on the racks. After I finish this, he makes me do it again. WTF! Now, he has me climb a rope. I’m hoping to God that this is one strong rope because I’m one fat guy. Then, it’s the damn stairs again and some other crazy crap. All of this happens for the next hour. I feel like I’m going to die right there or vomit all over myself. The only reason I don’t is because Craig would probably take pictures and post them on his web site or face book and use me as an example of what can happen to a fat guy if he doesn’t exercise. Screw that, I’m no ones punch line. So, I just shut up and do the exercises. Then, I finally go home and can’t remember anything from my day because I’m too damn tired to even think.
I’ve now been training with Craig since January. I still hate him when I’m training. When I’m not training, I actually love the guy. He really takes an interest in every one of his clients. We’re not just numbers to him. There’s not another trainer in the area with his knowledge or experience.
So, after training with Craig since January, I”m now down to 185 pounds. My cholesterol is down to 170 without medication and I’m no longer afraid of dying. My father died from diabetes and my mother died from heart disease. They were both very overweight. I want to be here to see my kids get married.
I can’t thank Craig enough for saving my life. He’s a remarkable human being, an incredible trainer and a wonderful friend. Craig, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being my inspiration and my big brother. Now, why don’t you give me 100 pushups you lazy ass!

Craig is a pain in my butt. Literally…. he made me work my glutes to the point where it hurts to sit down. All in the name of increasing my running speed. Pwwt! Who does he think he’s kidding? He just thinks it’s fun. Wink, wink.

Craig and Abbe can be so mean! They never allow me to slack off. Before I started training with Craig and Abbe In April of 2009, I had worked with several other personal trainers and nutritionists and never reached my goals. Probably because they were afraid to push me because of my age and orthopedic history. I’m now 58 years “young.” Craig and Abbe are, without a doubt, the most qualified personal trainers in South Florida. And, with my history of lower back pain and shoulder pain, it’s only a benefit that Craig has been a physical therapist for almost 20 years! He knows how to train people safely and can address any injuries that I may have. God bless both of you and T-3!
I hate you both but love what you do for me! :)

Now it’s my turn to vent. (What a great concept!) I read this article several times and have taken a lot of your information and put it to the test. I must say, it SUCKED! Not the exercises but getting myself motivated to do the exercises. But, I must say, I’m glad I did. After only 3 weeks, WHAT A DIFFERENCE in my body! And, it’s simple to follow and stick with. Thanks for providing such good information to the ladies! Most male personal trainers don’t have the knowledge or take the time to help the ladies. Craig, you rock and your site is awesome!
I freakin hate you so much!!! But, with love.

My wife thinks the trainers at T-3 are nuts. She genuinely hates to exercise. But, thanks for putting this information out to the public. I had my wife Lynn read this article because she recently began exercising again. We both found it very interesting and informative and she’s been following the program religiously. She absolutely hates exercise and it’s a kick to watch her at it. I’ve never heard such cursing. But, she’s looking and feeling great. And, thanks for the telephone calls Craig. Keep up the good work. Your web site is great and you really have a lot of knowledge to share.

I FREAKING HATE MY PERSONAL TRAINER!!!! HATEHIMHATEHIMHATEHIMHATEHIM!!! Well, not really. Craig is the bomb! I haven’t weighed this little and had so much muscle tone and tight abs in…..well…..ever! Build and burn baby!
Loretta (Southwest Ranches) March, 2010
I can’t rant and rave yet but hopefully soon when I visit you in the Fall. Craig, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a relevant article. So many personal trainers haven’t a clue as to what a woman goes through when she nears the age of 40 or surpasses that age. You have gained a fan for life and I can’t wait to meet you and schedule some training sessions to try your Build and Burn Program. It sounds intense and a lot of fun.
Keep up the good work and you have my vote as the most intelligent and greatest personal trainer in the State of Florida.

I love this! My mother never curses but probably does inside whenever she’s at your magical studio…..You don’t let her get away with anything. But, that’s why I love you. Let me tell you something. My mother had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease over 15 years ago. She is now 74 years of age. Over the past 3 years, her physical strength and balance and ability to just stand up have deteriorated. Her doctors had her going through alot of physical therapy, at home and at private clinics. The type of therapy and results were always the same, very little improvement. In May, my mother’s doctor, Dr. Galvez from The Cleveland Clinic recommended we go see Craig at his studio in Cooper City to see what he could do for her, if anything. I don’t know what it is or how he did it but my mom is now able to walk by herself, her strength has returned and her self confidence is so high right now. I’ve met so many other persons who have had similar experiences since working with Craig. He’s a gentleman, knows just how hard to push his special populations clients and knows more about this disease and the medications than anyone I’ve ever met. Craig, you were sent to us by a greater force and we cannot thank you enough.
We love you.

Craig:
I HATE YOU LIKE POISON!!!! YOU SUCK! I CAN’T BELIEVE I PAY YOU TO INFLICT AN HOUR OF PAIN ON ME 3 TIMES A WEEK!!! I’M AN IDIOT!!! Craig, you are one of the few, (if not the only) trainers in South Florida with intelligence, knowledge, compassion and controlled intensity. And, you’re a no BS guy. I knew from the moment I met you at your studio that I had made the right choice. Thanks for being a great teacher and friend, not just to me, but to my entire family and the rest of your ever expanding client base. You’re the greatest!
Danielle (Miramar) February 2008
Looking at the video on your web site, I don’t see any hate in the studio. That first video is “HOT!” The background music is perfect! You’ve got some smoking clients! Sign me up.
Erica (Long Island, NY) April 2008
I can’t believe the torture I let you inflict on me 3 hours a week. But, I guess I love being tortured. Craig, it was a blessing when I went back to Dr. Galvez last week and he told me about you and your special program for persons such as myself who live and struggle with Parkinson’s Disease every day. I’ve tried so many different types of physical therapy and alternative medicines over the past several years and I always had high hopes. Now, after only a few sessions with you, I see what all the excitement is about in the South Florida area, and in other parts of the United States, with you and your program. It’s like a gift. You’ve been blessed with a talent, patience and a gift and I can only hope you continue to touch other’s lives like you’ve touched mine. You’ve given me such confidence in myself and I’m now doing things that I’ve been afraid to do or couldn’t do in years! I’m walking again without constant help and my balance is so much better. It’s as if you’ve taken shackles off of me and set me free from myself. I cannot thank you enough. You are a remarkable and very special person. And, I know everyone else feels the same about you.
